Germany needs migration to maintain productivity
- ArtWomb 5y agoSeeing lots of stories in US about refugees revitalizing post-industrial towns in Upstate NY. And I've certainly witnessed a bit of it in the Capital District / Albany when visiting. I think the question for Germans is: what is it about the American system that allows immigrant communities to come here, plant roots, and thrive in mere months. - dbaKA 5y agoThe leisure-class needs more worker bees to increase competition and rents while living in state subsidized rent controlled apartments in Berlin for over 30 years. In the rare occasions when one of the ruling class members is actually forced to find a new apartment in Berlin from scratch, they write a bitter article about the housing market and begin to realize that Germany is full.
