I'm kind of surprised there isn't more interest in this article.
Any big change like this would seem to me to hint at some large effects later on. In Russia alone, the changes have the potential to be huge.
I guess it is still kind of "New Year" and people are hunkered down with COVID all over the world.
- chiefalchemist 5y agoIt's not new news. This idea (i.e., permafrost thaw) has been circulating for quite some time. I'm sure I've read similar at least three times previously, probably more.
