That seems more than a bit high..$1 for something that takes 10-30 seconds max, assuming you can't do it in your head and pull out your phone calculator?
- kfarr 5y agoIt may be depressingly accurate for those not great at math and really hate doing it, and it may be that the majority of people fall in this category

- bitwidget 5y agoThat was a confusing point in the article for me. I thought it meant that people doing mental math would tip on average $1 more than a computed option.
