Both augmented and virtual reality currently suffers from the same limitation that will sink most consumer ventures in either realm - the lack of input bandwidth.
Voice is severely limited. Eye tracking is awful for most tasks. Keyboard and mouse is obviously the best, but that hampers the overall promise of AR/VR. You may as well just use a desktop computer at that point.
