How much of that time and money was R&D and prototyping, and how much of that was the bespoke production of this single unit?

- mlyle 5y agoIf you were making the same thing at the same time, it'd be about 30%. That is, previous space missions that have built 2 flight articles have spent about 30% more. Doing it after the fact--- some design work would be saved, but how much of the tooling and supply chain still exists? Parts are going to need re-engineering, etc.
