https://onlineornot.com https://onlineornot.com is "just" a Next.js app with a database that calls a lambda function over a million times a week (website/API monitoring).
There's also a slightly more complicated part that runs a Chrome browser to check React/JS SPAs.
- rappinkraken 5y agoWhere did you get inspiration for your landing page? I have seen a ton of apps that look similar to this.
- rozenmd 5y agoIt's Tailwind UI, a paid package for Tailwind CSS.
- dmak 5y agoAre you using a backend? I think you would need at least at thin layer to manage your users, auth, etc...
- rozenmd 5y agoYeah, Next.js: https://nextjs.org/docs/api-routes/introduction https://nextjs.org/docs/api-routes/introduction
- austinpena 5y agoHow is your hosting structured to ensure you don’t have downtime?
- rozenmd 5y agoThe web app itself is completely isolated from the Lambda function doing the work, so that part can have downtime while the service keeps checking and sending alerts. On top of that, there's a bit of replication across regions (and soon across cloud vendors), so if an entire AWS region goes down (happened twice last month), the checks keep on checking.
- austinpena 5y agoAwesome!
- Glench 5y agoHow do you generate your documentation? Looks good!
- rozenmd 5y agoThanks! That's Docusaurus v2
