As someone with UC, medicine outside of prednisone has done nothing for me. Given that my disease is likely caused by something that modern science says is safe

As someone with UC, medicine outside of prednisone has done nothing for me. Given that my disease is likely caused by something that modern science says is safe the least they could do is fix it. The pessimist in me says they make too much money. Controlling stress and smoking have been the best fixes (the latter works but smoking is still bad for you).
