Morally, it would make sense for content creators (the creator and owner of an image, say an Onlyfans model who took a selfie) to be able to flag a picture for removal if they decide they don't want it to be shared anymore.
Technologically that would be very difficult to implement and guarantee, but I'd imagine they would rule in favor of the creator in that case.
I don't think a user should be banned or penalized for sharing said image since they may be unaware the model is trying to retract it. But no reason not to try respecting the creator's wishes.
- Guest42 5y agoI wish there was a methodology whereby a person could remove their personal data from fb given that they were unaware of what they were consenting to and that it changed over time.
- salt-thrower 5y agoSame here. I joined FB when I was 13 (over a decade ago) - I had no clue what I was signing up for.
