I work with a team shooting tourism content outside (often along the coast) and we use the Windy app all the time to pick times for each location. Being able to swipe to see the weather for a particular location at a future time is very helpful. Helps decide "OK, we'll shoot Wreck Beach first while the wind is light and offshore, then by 3pm when we've moved to the Point, the direction will have changed but we'll be protected by the headland." We also use long-range agricultural rain forecasts to try to schedule larger trips for decent weather windows, but this is obviously a lot riskier!
