Clarida to Resign from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
- uejfiweun 5y agoSeems he is stepping down due to the trading scandal. I don't know much about the economy, but this makes me happy. If these people are trading while at the helm, they have an incentive to keep prices inflated, aka keep interest rates low and lots of bond purchases. I would hope that if they aren't trading, then they would be able to implement some more objective monetary policy, which in my opinion would involve some serious raising of the rates.
