- dumb1224 5y agoFor me personally I relate it more to 佛系 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddha-like_mindset https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddha-like_mindset, no to "cut as chives", no to burn-out, slightly more middle class / younger Generation Z type of social media words. I'm sure it reveals angst and frustration among young city work forces but not sure that is the majority of the usage. It's a relatively new netizen word so its meaning will likely change according to its users over time.
