Ask HN: Software engineer interested in machine learning, what not to do?
I have doing full-stack web development for about 6 years now. I am interested in learning more about machine learning and perhaps at one point switch to working professionally in the field. Any advice from people who followed a similar path? i am especially interested in things to avoid doing.

- throwawaybbqed 5y agoI suggest you understand the material with as much depth as you can. If you gloss over details early on, it will bite you later on. Are you focusing on DL?
