Them glaciers is stealing our oxygen! If we could increase the O2 level by as little as 50%, we could probably get sedan sized bugs back. And forest fires that burn hot enough to melt buildings and some rocks. We could fund it under "prophylactic COVID treatments", even: no one argues that oxygen supplementation isn't an effective treatment, right? so no controversy there. The more I think about this; the more I like it: we'd see a global rise in fuel efficiency, the economy would be stimulated not only by the geoengineering project but by the follow on effects that would require much more maintenance be done, the redesign of everything to be tolerant of a more reactive atmosphere, etc etc. Sounds like a wonderful "Jobs program" type platform to run for office on.
