Ask HN: who's thinking of developing on Amazon's Kindle tablet?

I'm very, very bullish on Amazon's upcoming tablet, and see it as the first serious iPad competitor (at least in market share...they won't compete directly given rumored price points...anyway, I digress) to the iPad. However, as a grad student with tons of other projects I don't have time right now to learn Java and submit to the Appstore yet. So I'm curious! Is anyone excited to develop for this thing?
