Interesting take. The 2x2 fulfilment Vs prestige matrix is intriguing.
However, I can see this being merely a dip until those with low fulfilment and high prestige find other means of signalling this prestiqe, e.g., social media, perhaps augmented by collective self-promotion.
- dafelst 5y agoIt feels like a less comprehensive look at the Japanese concept of "Ikigai", at least the version that has been popularized in the west. The "prestige" and "what the world needs" sections could probably be substituted, though the concept of prestige feels more self centered to me at least.
