- psyfi 5y ago> Everybody may live and work in Svalbard indefinitely regardless of country of citizenship. The Svalbard Treaty grants treaty nationals equal right of abode as Norwegian nationals. Non-treaty nationals may live and work indefinitely visa-free as well.

- psyfi 5y agoThis deportation process seems better than regular security checks you can go through in my country. I know few people who would be happier in a Norwegian prison than in their houses. But yeah, people should do their researches about CoL in this area
- josephcsible 5y agoRemember, a critical component to this working is that it's really expensive to get to Svalbard in a way that doesn't require a Schengen visa.
- karmakaze 5y agoThe freedom sounds interesting, the latitude deserves a second thought. Longyearbyen (Administrative centre and largest town), Svalbard 78°13′N 15°39′E Nuuk (Capital and largest city), Greenland 64°10′N 51°44′W
