- davidkunz 5y agoIn this video I present two example scenarios both implemented in JavaScript and Rust. In the first example, Rust's strictness shines and enables clear and robust code. The second example, a logger middleware, demonstrates some of Rust's weaknesses.
- usrbinbash 5y agoReally nice video, and reflects my thoughts on rust perfectly. Have an upvote :-) Safety guaranteed by the compiler is certainly a great feature, but if this comes at the cost of "visual clutter" the likes of which I am only used to in legacy Java and C++ codebases, then I have to say, no thanks, I'd rather use C and make sure I make as few errors as possible. Or I just use Go.
