It doesn’t matter either way. America is already the richest country on Earth.
There are 2 Americas, domestically speaking; one with wealth, and one without. This so-called “repatriation” will only make the rich richer and, as a result of our failing political and economic system, this will also mean making the poor poorer.
- nodesocket 5y agoActually having wealthy itself is what makes the rich richer. It’s called compound interest and return. The more money you have the higher investment return. Having $3M in the stock market and returning an average conservative return of 6% a year means you can extract $180k a year and basically not have to work.
