Isn’t this old and terribly out of date? Thanks to the previous administration (can’t even say his name without getting downvoted) I believe Apple repatriated a huge amount of capital back to the US.

- quickthrowman 5y agoYes, the chart on the Wiki is from 2012. I wish it was up to date, seems like a good basket of equities to invest in.
- nopenopenopeno 5y agoIt doesn’t matter either way. America is already the richest country on Earth. There are 2 Americas, domestically speaking; one with wealth, and one without. This so-called “repatriation” will only make the rich richer and, as a result of our failing political and economic system, this will also mean making the poor poorer.
- nodesocket 5y agoActually having wealthy itself is what makes the rich richer. It’s called compound interest and return. The more money you have the higher investment return. Having $3M in the stock market and returning an average conservative return of 6% a year means you can extract $180k a year and basically not have to work.
