From his point of view, this certainly seems like a continuation of a life passion. Wouldn’t we all just love to follow our curiosity? Highlights a life well lived.
I’m curious on if this helped or hindered AoCP? Did it improve the work because the great theorist is also practicing on the side? Or did it slow down creation of AoCP? If the answer is “both”, which effect is stronger?

- bombcar 5y agoI suspect it helped, because it gave him “full stack control” and never did he have to be pissed at the output and have to rework everything (instead he could just fix what was wrong). Being in total control of your tooling is very nice for work that will span decades.
