"Uh, no" is not a start that puts the receiver in a mood to respond constructively. If he's caught unawares, is in a bad mood or just plain tired, you will reap what you've sown. If you want to be sure you receive constructive responses, you have give constructive responses.
- oelewapperke 15y agoWell you at least have really proven the initial point : rational thinking and solar power ... don't mix very well. Where can I buy these $1/Watt solar panels ? (btw : since actual output is ~ 40% of theoretical capacity, $1/Watt is about 15 years out at 7% per year. While buying coal-produced power at an actual price of $1/Watt is available to everyone today. And I don't have to have some magical energy storage system that doesn't leak anything over 20 years (the $1 claimed, of course, doesn't include the batteries required to actually use the system, which can double the cost yet again)). And one wonders why solar panels don't advertise cost on an equal footing : in cost/KwH available capacity 24/7. We all know why, of course : they'd easily be 10 times as expensive as coal.
