The Freelancer seems a little too close to the scammer who admittedly used someone else card! For a second I wondered if they’re same person… just tiny bit. Who eats the cost in this particular case is a gray area - I believe Upwork should be suing Robin to try to recover the funds. I can feel for the freelancer but the real victim is CC owner - charge back was the right move.
