Isn't the whole point of Upwork to safe guard both sides and why people pay them? What is the benefit here. This is as good as directly working with a client. Atleast then you keep all the money without having to pay Upwork a cut. Why continue working on Upwork? They are clearly not providing any value if they did not even do a basic verification to see if the card belonged to the client.
