By creating commitments on state, Ethereum offers the possibility of ultra-light clients, where only the state root needs to be downloaded instead of all block headers, that Bitcoin doesn't.
- bhaak 5y agoThat's not there, yet. That's one of the main criticisms of the original article. So many promises but so little actual functionality after a decade for Bitcoin and half a decade for Ethereum.
