I went to a true estate sale twice in my life, both times a real estate sale. The first for a large piece of undeveloped land, the second for a large home. I'll never go again. The land, I purchased at 10 cents on the dollar from a pair of children who were more interested in what they could get quickly. I'm ashamed to say I live in the house I purchased from a grieving widow who wanted only to be rid of the painful memories. I made out like a bandit and I feel guilty about it and likely will to the end of my days.
