Did suicide go up or just attempts?
Using methods unlikely to work and with the added safety of having people in the house all the time I could imagine that many of the new attempts were not intended to succeed
- crackercrews 5y agoThis is a fair question. Especially because the increase was almost entirely among girls. They have a much higher attempt rate but a much lower completion rate than boys. [1] It is possible that these attempts are more about distress than true attempts to end life.
