I’ve been using iCould Private Relay since it came out on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I’ll say I agree for the most part it is seemless. There are times where websites will slow down or fail to load, and loading it in Firefox will work right away. I attribute this to still being a beta service, so I don’t mind too much. I’m still curious how they plan to handle abuse. If someone is using the relay to upload illegal content, is there some mechanism for the 2nd relay operator to report that back up to Apple? They say they check that an Apple account is in good standing but how would your account go to a bad standing? Or is it up to law enforcement to subpoena information from both companies to connect the dots?
