I wish Canon would tell users of its business lasers how to reset a forgotten admin PIN.
Apparently only Canon Service providers can do a full factory reset due to "data protection" reasons.
Go figure.
- userbinator 5y agoAsk on some of the "shadier" forums and you might get an answer. Knowing a foreign East European or Asian language helps. (There are plenty of Chinese, Polish, Romanian, Russian, and Vietnamese forums discussing consumer electronics repair, but very few in English.)
