- nyc111 5y agoSeconds does not measure time, it compares two lengths of different scales. The motion of an oscillator and a unit length. What is measured is length. Nothing else can be measured.
- ipeefreely 5y agoAre you certain? A second is a measure of duration of time, which is standardized via the oscillations of a caeseium atom. There's no reference to length involved as far as I know.
