Cuomo's decision is what led to NY having a ridiculously high death count when compared to other states. I'd say that this is a terrible thing to ask unless they have proof that the omnicron variant doesn't cause a heightened risk of death among elderly people, even if they are triple vaxxed.
- kbos87 5y agoYour comment doesn’t address the hardest part of this problem - that hospitals are completely full, stretched to the maximum, and turning away critically ill patients. It’s easy to say this is terrible and I don’t think anyone would disagree with you, but you have to recognize the alternative. I’ve yet to see anyone who had a better plan that Cuomo should have followed back in 2020.
