Swedish Torch
- mikece 5y agoI was going to start a local meetup called "Out of Cube Experience" that would feature outdoor activities that the typical office-dweller typically wouldn't do but could be fun and/or practical. One planned activity was felling a tree with a chainsaw -- correctly and safely, of course -- and building a Nordic/Swedish Torch was certainly a follow-on possible activity. (And no, I didn't start the meetup out of liability concerns and insurance being unrealistically expensive.)
