- mmmm2 5y agoA haiku from the book "Portraits of Edo and Early Modern Japan": "The son of the third generation writes ‘Furnished house for sale!’ in beautiful Chinese-style calligraphy." It's the same idea: the first generation builds the business. the second enjoys the benefits, but remembers the struggle and maintains it. The third generation only knows the luxury and lets it go to ruin.
