- jelliclesfarm 5y agono shortage of trees, agreed..but lumber futures in the last quarter of 2021 went up real high. we also have wildfires in CA(PG&E wont be made accountable) RSG panels(https://www.rsg3d.com/ https://www.rsg3d.com/) seem to be fire resistant..to a certain extent. no rain or termite issues. we can build more efficient homes now. eta: not dated(lumber futures went nuts in the last quarter of 2021 only)..a good read: https://time.com/6046368/wood-steel-houses-fires/ https://time.com/6046368/wood-steel-houses-fires/
