If people want a blockchain based decentralized web couldn't we cut out the middleman and just make hosting data the proof of work? Edit: After all of ~10 minutes of uninformed thought I'm leaning towards an unholy marriage of torrents, IPFS and banking with each server acting as IPFS node, torrent tracker/seed and bank, issuing letter of credits to seeds of the data.
