Of course not. In my current position I constantly improve my skills to fit a variety of projects and facets of a single project. Unused skills atrophy all the time. My skill set is dynamic, adjusting to a variety of conditions and needs. My core skills are qualities - curiosity, enthusiasm, quick adaptation, quick learning, communication, understanding logic, attention to detail, ability to visualize software as factorio-like machinery, skepticism and paranoia/trusting that people will try to do things wrong. If I am asked to write a sorting algorithm I shall not pass. Therefore, I will never ask anyone to do so in an interview.
