Next car might be a Sony?
Sony seems to be getting serious about manufacturing electric vehicles.

I wonder how much of this sort of thing we might see in the future. Who's for a Hewlett Packard HP-41 electric car? It should come with a holder for my HP-41 calculator!
- mac3n 5y agodoes it come with a rootkit? will it phone home with updates on my location? does it have DRM?
- mac3n 5y agoand the HP car - wll it only accept HP gasoline? is there a monthly subscription fee? does it charge extra if there are passengers?
- giantg2 5y agoI'm so tired of this. Can I just have a basic vehicle without so much tech? Something like a work truck without infotainment, onstar etc. An electric version of my old 89 caprice would be nice, maybe with the addition of airbags.
- schappim 5y ago>> Can I just have a basic vehicle without so much tech? I feel this way, but for TVs. Just give me the panel, don't put in any smarts!
- speedgoose 5y agoYes you can buy low tech cars. Dacia is popular for example.
- lagrange77 5y agoAn electric car resembling the build quality of classic HP calculators would be awesome! (oh and the switches!)
