This brought back memories. The first money I ever made from software as a teenager was through Kagi. It was some Mac utility shareware apps written in REALbasic around the year 2000.
- ben_w 5y agoREALbasic? Hmm, if it was about 2006 I’d wonder if it was some of my creations. Long time since I did shareware in any language, though. Something like £2k total takings, I wasn’t good at business.

- amatecha 5y agoNice, that's awesome! How did you market/publish your software? Just a website? I remember trying to make a Hotline client/bot with REALbasic. Part of me definitely wishes I had pursued that stuff more strongly, maybe I could have authored some nice shareware as well!
