The bigger problem is if you are already in Jira. Any kind of tracking tool switchover is going to be a huge undertaking.
We have lots of complaints about Jira but any time we consider moving it’s never worth the effort.
- dovyski 5y agoYeah, unfortunately this is the truth (and also the definition of vendor lock-in, right? :) IMHO GitHub Actions is the flip switch here. Eventually it will become so useful and powerful that its advantages will overshadow any migration's cost related to tools like Jira.
