Voice input is awkward and dumbness is even more exposed. Also when dealing with chatbot you might have kinda specific issues and terminology that voice recognition doesn't capture very well. On top of that, chatbots usually end up being just glorified fulltext search, but often cramped into tiny window somewhere in the corner.
