I bet the 76% accuracy is coming from the CharaChorder's input method. From its website (https://www.charachorder.com/product-page/charachorder https://www.charachorder.com/product-page/charachorder):
> CharaChorder’s internal processor arranges the letters on-screen in real time faster than the human eye can perceive.
So if it inputs one word, deletes it, and writes a new word every time you press a new letter, that would result in some decreased accuracy, even if the user doesn't ever correct anything.
- Accacin 5y agoYeah, this thread is full of people who didn't take enough time to read anything. We're all too quick nowadays to get angry and type without thinking, sadly.
- meltedcapacitor 5y agoThey're typing too quick with their CharaChorder. :-)
- darkwater 5y ago> We're all too quick nowadays to get angry and type without thinking, sadly. Well, CharaChorder won't exactly help with that...
- Buttons840 5y agoSpam out epic rants in record time!
- kmonsen 5y agocould they not do that on device and only spit out the correct characters when it feels certain?
- zck 5y agoI don't see why not. The UX would not be as good, though.
- Groxx 5y agoProbably. But then it's harder to learn because you have no feedback until you finish something. And for chorded keyboards especially, you're kinda always learning, because the dictionaries are huge and you often keep tweaking them to fit your personal needs.
- bawolff 5y agoThat sounds even more like cheating.
