> As it happened, the first girl was killed in a car accident on the day before her sixteenth birthday. The second girl made it to her twenty-first birthday. She thought the spell was broken, so she went out to celebrate, but at the bar a fight broke out, a gun went off, and she was also killed.
I am skeptical. Did they write down this hex before the deaths happened?
- drcongo 5y agoI stopped reading at the end of that obviously fake anecdote, how much credibility can the rest of the article have if they actually believe that story.
- grungegun 5y agoThe doctors don't believe the story. The woman does. The doctors believe that the woman's belief caused her early death, but that's independent of whether they accept that story as true - people (the woman) can convince themselves of a lot of things.
- drcongo 5y agoYou're absolutely right. However, I'm still struggling to believe that the woman existed at all, the entire story just sounds so made up.
