I know for a fact I wouldn’t. My company recently switched from a code submission to a hackerrank type thing. As part of that switch, several engineers of different ranks (junior, contributor, senior, staff, etc.) took the quiz to benchmark the platform. My score was second-to-last, despite being the highest ranking engineer. Otherwise, it basically lined up, so we made the switch. It’s certainly possible that I’m under qualified for my position, but I also suspect that these assessments have significant false-positives and false-negatives, the consequences of which will be hard to measure, and therefore ignored or mis-diagnosed.
