AMOS BASIC would be the best choice surely?

    It was at the time, I think they released the source a few years ago.

        Sure, but 68ks (and Amigas) are pretty well emulated these days, it wouldn’t be that hard. Sure what you have then is an Amiga emulator that boots strait into AMOS but I think that’s fine as it would be a great beginner environment.
