Thinking about this from first principles;
1. Is there any evidence that leetcode style process is better at identifying better candidates than picking names from a hat?
2. Wouldn't copying FAANG hiring practices (if you are not FAANG) ensure that you will always get their "rejects"? Where you will always have an inferior talent?
- wgj 5y agoEven this is flawed, because it presumes that what they are doing succeeds at selecting superior talent.
