- sailingparrot 5y agoIncreasing risk of what exactly ? Since you are already doing it anyway ? The original saying (that I don’t necessarily agree with) is not about competence but about ethics: if every ethical person refuses to work in weapon manufacturing/ advertising / whatever is deemed morally unacceptable, then the only people that will do it are people with no morals and we will be worse off as a society. So really, in this case the person just shutting up and doing it is already the worse fallback.
