My daughter just got an iPhone for Christmas--it was my wife's old iPhone 6s. Over 6 years old and other than shorter battery life, it works fine. Every Android device (tablet or phone) I've had has ended up in a junk drawer much sooner than the Apple devices I've purchased.
- selimthegrim 5y agoI was in the DC Carnegie Apple Store and the personnel made fun of me for having a 6s. They were like "Wow, I haven't seen one of these forever?!?!?"
- mattl 5y agoI should bring in my Pismo running Mac OS 9.2
- selimthegrim 5y agoMy response to them (I was evacuated from Ida at the moment and getting my phone battery replaced with FEMA money) was "Oh, you know, we in New Orleans are so grateful to have any technology at all...."
- behnamoh 5y agoThat's so rude. I'm sure you can contact Apple support so that they won't do it to others.
- TheRealNGenius 5y agothat seems more like an innocuous comment to me. says more about gp's character to assume negative intentions
- selimthegrim 5y agoYou had to be there and hear the tone. I didn't hold anything against her it was just that the wow was way too drawn out to be funny IMO
- jazzyjackson 5y agoweird you got downvoted I agree that Apple's durability as a hand-me-down goes further in explaining this number than "convinced parent to spend $400 because green bubbles would make me an outcast"
- bitcoinmoney 5y agoGet the battery replaced from Apple. It’s like 60$ and the phone comes back like new.
