It's remarkable to turn on CNBC this morning and see nothing about Sony's new VR tech while just a few weeks ago they were breathlessly devoting so much coverage to Meta's shift to the "metaverse." Sony is delivering version 2 of a well liked product platform that hosted a bunch of good games. This achievement is already well beyond so many other competitors that either only have vaporware hype or decent tech but with no compelling software.
