Is it fair to think of IDEs that include language-specific refactoring capabilities as a providing a developer abstraction over AST editing?
- gushogg-blake 5y agoThanks! Yeah, I think of refactorings as being a level of abstraction above text and AST editing - kind of like macros for AST edits.
