Check out my new side project: Protodeo.com
- circularchaos 5y agoHey guys, long time lurker and first time poster. I’ve been working on something that I haven’t seen done before. I wanted to create a quick website using the cool Apple scrolling effect however I couldn’t find a simple template online so I created one myself. I felt others could benefit from it so I turned it into a web app. What was supposed to take a few weeks ended up taking my longer haha. This is my first major side project that I've been working on for the past year so any feedback is welcome. Is the messaging clear to you? Is there anything you feel could be improved?
- hacky_engineer 5y agoNice work! You built something! I am sick of building apps, so I don't think I'm the target market anymore, but I probably would have used this 8 years ago. Some feedback: I have to do a lot of scrolling to get to the text; there's too much empty space when scrolling. When I click on the other themes to the right side, I expected that they would update the current theme.
- circularchaos 5y agoThanks so much for your feedback! That's a great idea, I'll try to remove the text fade to improve the scrolling and also try to place the themes in a modal to avoid confusion. Thanks again!
