How many interviews with non-FAANG companies have you done in the last year? Before dismissing the industry entirely, find some interesting companies and interview them for the culture you're looking for. Also, I've been programming for over 10 years. I personally know two ex-lawyers who switched to programming and are much happier. I've never met anybody switching from programming to law.
